Meet the Talent behind Comedy Christmas

In the tradition of The National Lampoon Radio Hour, Kids in the Hall and Saturday Night Live comes the Damage Control Comedy Crew.

Growing up in the late 70's and early 80's the Damage Control crew and most of their generation were highly influenced by the comedy style of Bill Murray, John Belushi and Chevy Chase as well as comedy skits on local radio stations that featured the likes of Christopher Guest, Richard Belzer, Paul Shaffer, Bryan Doyle Murray, and most of the early SNL cast. Gene, resident vinyl collector, amassed a stockpile of National Lampoon skits on LP and listened to them over and over. From there it was one short, twisted step to gathering his closest, weirdest friends to record comedy sketches of their own.

But the glowing reviews and plethora of distinguished awards weren't collected overnight. It took years of playing with improv, writing skits, recording funny shit and drinking a lot of beer to reach the heights of fame and fortune the Damage Control Comedy Crew now enjoys. Regular crew members are Gene May, Martin Brown, Michelle Walker, Kenn Bradley, Landon Smith and Jay Hewlett.

Guest performers include: Meredith, Sophie, Chicken Wing, Stephanie, Melissa and a few poor souls who happened to pass the office at just the wrong moment.
